Easom Rigging was instrumental in helping Samson develop this product

Finding that too many lines requiring chafe cover looked very similar in some of the maxi boat programs we worked with, we provided feedback for Samson to develop this color-differentiated product.

Flavored Ice is specifically designed to mate with Samson's high performance, single braided ropes. The cover-only construction, a blend of Vectran LCP and Zylon PBO fibers, provides protection from heat buildup and abrasion caused by friction under load. Flavored Ice is offered in two sizes. Model A colors are Black, Red and Yellow. Model B colors are Blue, Green and Orange.

We like to build custom lines with Ice cover such as maxi-boat jib sheets, spinnaker sheets, afterguys, runner tails, mainsheets, and other high-load, high-heat applications.
